Hello Teen Council Members,

I would like to get together to do some brainstorming and get some ideas on paper for us to forward to John Tobin.
Would anyone be interested in getting together for an informal meeting/ social gathering at my house in West Roxbury?
Please post your response or email me at murdan13@comcast.net.

View Article  Ideas for the Youth Council
Hi,

My name is Dan Murphy and I am one of the Youth Council representatives for District Six . As I live in WestRoxbury, I have some ideas that relate specifically to WestRoxbury that will make the lives of teens more enjoyable.

These ideas are :

- A teen room for the WestRoxbury public library. The teen room would not only be a place for teens to relax, read a book, or use a computer,
it would always be a place for groups or clubs to meet.
- The organization of various clubs and activities for teens.Perhaps a survey could be sent out to teens regarding the types of organized activities that they would find interesting.
- Bringing more teen friendly shops into the area (Boarders , clothing stores,Gamestops ect.).

I would like to hear some feedback.

Thanks and I look forward to hearing from you!

Dan Murphy
