Wednesday 11/30: 11:30 AM Council Meeting
Thursday 12/1: 3:00 PM Health & Human Services Hearing. Docket #0983 Order for a hearing to discuss possible solutions to further reduce health threats associated with lead in drinking water.

Councillor Tobin and the Mayor's Office of Neighborhood Services are hosting a meeting on Monday, November 28th at 7 PM regarding the former Lyndon School building on Russett Road in West Roxbury. "One of the best things about my job is, you get out of bed in the morning and have an opportunity to make a real positive impact on people's everyday lives. That's what I like about it. It was through the constituents of mine and the JP Library, our office and Mayor Menino's office, that put a brake on putting the band aids on capital improvements, and wanted get a whole improvement done all at once that would benefit everybody. Continuing the beautification efforts at Jamaica Pond, an oasis in the middle of our city, Hynes Field in West Roxbury, the tot lot on south street. People want someone who can pick up the phone or make a visit to a department head and get things in action and bring dollars into our community. It's a pleasure to be your Boston City Councillor I'm looking forward to your vote on November 8th, I ask for it. Tomorrow we'll be talking about accessibility to elected officials." Affordable Housing
In this video, Councillor Tobin, Vice Chair of the City Council's Housing Committee, talks about affordable housing.
