I want to take this opportunity to encourage everyone in my district and across the city to get out and vote in today's preliminary elections. Although I won't be on the ballot today, it's always important that we all take advantage of our democratic right that is the foundation of our country. If you didn't get to register in time for this election, you can still register for the November 8th election. The deadline is October 19th.
Election day is always an important one in our city so I hope everyone can take some time out of their day to express their choices. If you're unsure where you vote, check out this list of polling locations to find out. I'll be on the ballot on November 8th and look forward to continuing to work to earn your vote. Thanks. more »
